Radio group’s new man
Riviera Radio, one of the companies battling for the local commercial radio franchise, today announced the appointment of a new director, Prof. Walter Minchinton, to take responsibility for the arts and cultural aspect of the company’s work.
Prof. Minchinton is Professor of Economic History at Exeter University, and chairman of the University Discussion Group.
Riviera say that they are now allocating specialist duties among their board of working directors, and the new appointment is a step in their plan to see that all aspects of community life in South Devon are represented.
