Radio bidders to go public

Western Morning News 07 May 1993

Bay City Radio, which is bidding for the local broadcasting licences in Exeter and Torbay currently held by DevonAir, is to hold two public meetings. The meetings are intended to allow the public to meet the group and discuss their plans for commercial radio after DevonAir’s licence period ends in December 1994. The new licences will run for a period of eight years. The meetings will be at the Grand Hotel, Torquay on May 25 at 7 pm, and the Rougemont Hotel, Exeter on May 27 at 7 pm.
