I’m building the most complete record of DevonAir Radio — but I need your help. Were you a presenter, producer, technician, office staff, or listener? I’d love to hear from you.

Do you have:

Photos of studios, events, or people?
Recordings or archive material?
Memories or stories to share?

Every contribution helps preserve DevonAir’s place in South West broadcasting history. Please get in touch via archive@devonairradio.co.uk. Your material will be credited and valued.

Thank you for being part of the story.

Facts

DevonAir Radio Limited, originally incorporated as Radio Haldon (28 February 1979 – 31 December 1979), was officially established under its current name in 1980. The station became a cherished part of South West broadcasting history, serving Exeter, East Devon, and Torbay, South Devon. In 1987, it underwent a change in ownership when it was acquired by Capital Radio. DevonAir ceased broadcasting in 1994 following a reallocation of its frequencies to Gemini Radio, which later became part of the Heart network. Despite the station’s closure, DevonAir Radio Limited remains an active registered company (Company Number: 01417361). Its registered office is: 30 Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7LA. Full official records are available via Companies House. Please note: This website is solely focused on the historical legacy of DevonAir Radio Limited (01417361).
